Elevate Your A Cappella Experience in 2024

Are you an experienced singer looking for something fresh and new in 2024? Or someone with only a little group singing experience but keen to learn and grow? If either of these descriptions sound like you, come along to our free Open Rehearsal on 31 January 2024 at Everton Park Bowls and Community Club.

What to expect

Our Open Rehearsal will involve physical and vocal warm-ups, which you're welcome to participate in, and then you will have the opportunity to see how we rehearse, hear some of our repertoire, and pick up great tips on vocal production along the way! Our rehearsal runs from 7pm to around 9.30pm, but you're free to leave earlier if you can only come for part of the night.

Joining our chorus

We know that once you hear our style of a cappella music, you'll be hooked! So information about how to join our group will be available for anyone who is interested. Although you can start the audition process at most times of the year (aside from some periods in which we're focusing on specific performances), people often find it easier to do this with other auditionees. So we strongly encourage you to come along in January to start your singing journey with us!

About Blue Sky Harmony

Blue Sky Harmony is not a regular choir - we sing contemporary music in four-part harmony, incorporate physical expression into our songs, and we are always honing our skills. We receive coaching from experts several times a year, and love to perform and share our music with the community. 

Our arrangments suit all vocal ranges, so if you have a voice that is too low for a standard choral alto part, our bass section will make you feel right at home! If you love those high notes, we also have a part that's perfect for you - plus melody and harmony parts in the mid-ranges. There really is something for every singer!
